PNOC EC has constantly given full support to disadvantaged but deserving scholars in the High School and College levels over the last several years through its flagship Kaagapay sa Karunungan, a key component of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program.

While this program was once offered only in Isabela, PNOC EC wanted to extend its assistance to even more deserving students, and has since expanded the scholarship program to Zamboanga Sibugay Province. Zamboanga Sibugay is home to PNOC EC’s Coal Operating Contract 41 (COC 41) and Coal Operating Contract 204 (COC 204).

There are currently 25 PNOC EC scholars in Isabela, and 36 scholars in Zamboanga Sibugay.
