In line with PNOC EC’s mandate of providing a stable energy supply for the Philippines, the company is also involved in the exploration, development and production of coal in the country. The company’s venture into the coal industry started in early 2002, with its takeover of the operations of its affiliate PNOC Coal Corporation, which was then into coal exploration and mining, integrated coal services, coal trading and marketing.
